Willian Ortega
General Manager
Willian Ortega has been with StarCorr Sheets since its inception in September 2015, playing an integral role in the company’s growth and success. Over the years, he has held various positions, including CSR Supervisor, CSR Manager, CSR Regional Manager, and now General Manager, showcasing his dedication and versatility. Before joining StarCorr Sheets, Willian gained valuable experience across multiple industries, including restaurants, telecommunications, and other packaging businesses.
A native of Waco, Texas, Willian attended A.J. Moore Academy for high school before furthering his education at Texas State Technical College (TSTC) and Tarleton College. He is passionate about fostering a positive work environment, and his favorite part of StarCorr Sheets is the incredible team he leads.
When he’s not in the office, Willian enjoys spending time outdoors mountain biking or unwinding with a good book. He is happily married and the father of two sons.
Mike Strohecker
Plant Manager
Mike Strohecker has been with Star Corr Sheets since February 2017 and brings a wealth of experience to the team, having been in the corrugating business since 1987. He takes pride in working with the incredible people at Star Corr every day and values the strong sense of teamwork.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Mike graduated from Shamokin High School before serving in the Marine Corps. Outside of work, he enjoys hobbies like cars, guns, motorcycles, and even basket weaving. Married to his lovely wife, Dianne, they share their home with three dogs: Turbo, Olivia, and Missy. Mike also finds humor in meaningful conversations with his wife, often about bath towels or similar topics, and occasionally enjoys long walks on the beach and fluffy oversized throw pillows.
Connie Rost
Controller
Connie has been a valued member of Star Corr Sheets since 2016, bringing over 30 years of experience in the sheet feeder and corrugated sheet industry. Her career has included roles with companies such as CTC, Boise, and PCA. Connie’s favorite part of her job is the people she works with, finding daily inspiration in their dedication and teamwork.
Originally from Stephenville, Texas, Connie graduated from Stephenville High School before earning her degree at Tarleton State University. A certified CPA, she combines expertise with a passion for excellence in every aspect of her work.
Outside the office, Connie enjoys hiking and spending quality time with her family. She is the proud mother of two children, Taylor and Kaitlyn, and a doting grandmother to her wonderful grandson, Tenner. Connie also shares her home with her beloved cat, Theo.
Jennifer Crumley
Human Resources Manager
Jennifer has been with StarCorr Sheets since its inception in 2015, bringing a wealth of expertise from her career in HR, which spans over 17 years in manufacturing and packaging. Her favorite part of StarCorr has always been the people, and she also appreciates the many opportunities for advancement the company provides.
A native of Stephenville, Texas, Jennifer pursued her education at Texas Tech University. Outside of work, she enjoys an active lifestyle that includes scuba diving, horseback riding, snow skiing, and embracing both beach and lake life. Jennifer and her husband of 33 years, Heath, are proud parents to three children—Hailey, Joshua, and Jay—and grandparents to two grandsons, Clive and Cole. Her household is bustling with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and even llamas.
Lena Lawrence
Safety and Environmental Services Manager
Lena joined StarCorr Sheets in 2023, initially as a representative on the customer service team. Leveraging her background as a Safety Trainer, she transitioned to her current role as EHS Manager when the opportunity arose. Prior to StarCorr, Lena worked as a Safety Trainer and has built a remarkable 27-year career in manufacturing, with 25 of those years in the corrugated business.
Lena’s favorite part of StarCorr is the people, whose dedication and camaraderie make the company truly special. A native of Northern Nevada, she attended Las Vegas High School and later earned her degree from the University of Phoenix.
Outside of work, Lena enjoys crocheting, quilting, and gardening. She is happily married, a proud mother of three, and grandmother to seven grandchildren. Her household also includes a variety of pets—one dog, two cats, and two rabbits—adding to the warmth of her home.
Ronald Vance
Maintenance Manager
Ronald joined Starcorr Sheets in 2024, bringing decades of experience as a Maintenance Manager, a role he has held since 1985 with companies such as PCA, Kapstone/WestRock, IT, and Pratt Industries. He appreciates the exceptional cleanliness of the Starcorr plant, which stands out as one of his favorite aspects of the company.
Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Ronald later moved to Utah, where he completed high school and attended Utah Tech and Utah State. When he’s not ensuring the smooth operation of the plant, Ronald enjoys hobbies like riding motorcycles, driving Corvettes, and tackling home improvement projects.
Ronald is married and has three adult children. While he doesn’t have any pets, he has a fondness for kittens—but not so much for cats.
Sue Garza
Customer Service Manager
Sue Garza has been with StarCorr Sheets since the very beginning, dedicating over nine years to the company. She began her journey as a CSR, quickly advancing to CSR Lead, and now serves as the Customer Service Manager. Prior to joining StarCorr, Sue spent 17 years in the interior door business, honing her skills in customer relations and leadership.
What Sue loves most about StarCorr is the family-oriented culture and the opportunity to grow alongside the company. She grew up just outside of Troy, Texas, a short 20 miles from StarCorr, and graduated from Troy High School. When she’s not at work, Sue enjoys cooking and baking for her family, as well as spending time watching sports, especially of her favorite teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the San Antonio Spurs.
Sue has been with her high school sweetheart for 30 years and has been married for 19 of those years. Together, they have five children and eight grandchildren. The family also adores their two beloved dogs, Charlie and Chino. For Sue, free time is all about family, good food, and cheering on her favorite teams.
